Perpetual adoration at St Mary Help of Christians
The St. Claire’s chapel at St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church in Aiken hosts hourly perpetual adoration. Donna Pierce and Deacon Bob Pierce started the program in 1996, now led by Peter and Elaine Cosgriff. About 350 parishioners commit at least an hour weekly, with some attendees from other area churches. the chapel, built in the late 1800s, remains a historic site.
