Waste Management Committee convenes Tuesday September 12 at 5 p.m. at Aiken Municipal Conference Center to discuss Liquid Waste Disposition Processing and Risk Management plans with public comment invited. The One Stop Committee meets at 10 a.m. in Lower Savannah Council of Governments building to review local waste topics. Coin Club hosts fifth annual show September 16 at Odell Weeks Center from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with free admission and parking. Public notices also advertise life skills class for sixth graders starting September 13 at Newberry Hall with weekly sessions through October 11, cost 110 dollars, and chair-based Gentle Stretch for adults starting October 18 at Weeks Center, 11:15 a.m. to noon, 20 dollars, ages 50 plus.
