Aiken County Board of Education weighs five year strategic plan
At a special meeting the Aiken County Board of Education will pick priorities from a five year strategic plan at the district office. Superintendent Dr Linda Eldridge says progress in academics remains the focus. Board members must decide which programs are financially feasible and push to reduce pupil teacher ratios. Public Education Partners notes alignment with community plans and calls for graduate rates and after school programs to rise.
