North Augusta couple tied to meth ring in North Augusta raid
The mug shot of a North Augusta woman was released after a Monday drug arrest. Police say a North Augusta couple were arrested Monday along with seized chemicals at an Apache Drive home. Michael E. Stewart, 55, charged with two counts of manufacturing methamphetamine. Carole L. Starr, 60, charged with manufacturing methamphetamine. Investigators say coils were stripped from an air conditioning system at a Belvedere address in June. Kenneth D. Jones, 44, booked at the Aiken County Retention.

Sheriff arrests Jackson couple in meth operation raid
The Aiken County Sheriff's Office arrested Corbi E. McRae and Mary E. McRae at a Jackson residence after a tip led investigators to quantities of marijuana and items used to manufacture methamphetamine. A 14 year old boy was placed in emergency protective custody and the couple remains jailed at the Aiken County Detention Center.
