Teacher pleads guilty to false mileage theft in Aiken County

Susan Lowell 41 pleaded guilty to obtaining property by false pretenses for submitting inflated mileage as a home bound teacher. Circuit Judge James Barber gave two years probation and 300 hours of community service after Lowell repaid 5869 dollars. Lowell represented herself despite encouragement to hire counsel.

Mayor says City of Aiken doing well at Rotary meeting
