Three Teens Charged in North Augusta Car Theft Ring
North Augusta police say Chad Sitton aged 18 and two 16 year olds were linked to at least 15 vehicle break ins since summer. Sitton and a 16 year old girl face 14 counts each while a 16 year old boy faces six counts. Investigators identified suspects from surveillance video and a credit card stolen in one theft. The trio admitted to most open cases after brief questioning.

SCE&G to settle suit with state over franchise fees refunds
State Attorney General Henry McMaster says refunds could total 1.4 million as SCE&G settles a suit over misapplied franchise fees. County residents may receive refunds after the utility identified about 4,100 erroneously charged accounts dating to 1999 and has already issued 78,000 in refunds.

SCE&G to issue refunds to municipal customers under agreement
SCE&G will refund about 1.4 million dollars to roughly 7,000 customers among 130 potentially affected municipalities including Aiken Augusta Burnettown Ridge Jackson Monetta and Saluda.
