Marc Ables twenty seven of Beatty Lane Aiken is charged with burglary violent probation violation contributing to the delinquency of a minor possession of a stolen vehicle possession of a firearm or ammunition by a person convicted of a violent crime and possession of other controlled substances first offense after 911 OnStar reported a woman’s 2011 Chevy Malibu stolen at a gas station on Augusta Road Ables and a 16 year old female were arrested after the vehicle fled toward Edgefield County then toward Aiken County and crashed They fled on foot to a storage building on Archie Ware Road Ridge Spring where a Bloodhound team tracked them A handgun was found near Ables who remained in detention Tuesday

Security monitor charged after altercation at Aiken school
Taikwon Paige a security monitor at Pinecrest School an alternative campus in Aiken has two counts of unlawful conduct toward a child. Police say a student reported Paige pushed him held him against a hot pipe leaving fresh abrasions. Paige surrendered at police and posted a $10,000 total bond before release.
