Helping Hands renovates campus during Day of Caring
During Project VISION Day of Caring in March, Helping Hands on John Elliot Lane welcomed 50 plus volunteers from Savannah River Nuclear Solutions and Savannah River Remediation. They logged 397 hours mainly outdoors, repainted exterior and completed two coats on each residential building, rebuilt shelving, beds, and updated software, under project leader Freddie Hartzog.

Rural Health Services in Aiken County earned 120716 in quality improvement awards from the U S Department of Health and Human Services HHS for performing strongly in six of eight indicators across access to care value and health equity The award marks the largest sum the center has received for quality efforts and will be reinvested to further care coordination and patient engagement
