Aiken County CSI class trains deputy coroners
Nine students eight men and one woman meet weekly at the Aiken Electric Co-Op building to study rigor mortis homicide and related topics. The course, unique in the state, aims to prepare deputies for commissioning after three months of training and hands on ride along experience with Coroner Tim Carlton and staff.
