Suspect Arrested After Police Chase In North Augusta

An 18 year old North Augusta man is in custody after fleeing from a traffic stop with a firearm. The incident began at 11 58 a.m. near Hwy 25 in the Winn Dixie Market Place Shopping Center with Trooper Steve Branham describing a possibly stolen vehicle and a damaged windshield and trunk.

Identity of driver released after wreck in Aiken

James David Harvey 27 of Aiken identified as the injured driver in a single car crash at Richland Avenue and Carolina Drive. The Toyota sedan sideswiped poles, knocked out power for hours, and police say he may have had a seizure traveling around 80 mph. No charges will be filed.
