Leesville man arrested on marijuana charges in Aiken County
Thomas Edward Barry a 55 year old of 879 North Fork Road Leesville was charged by the Aiken County Sheriff's Office with possession with intent to distribute and manufacturing marijuana. Investigators recovered 52 marijuana plants at his home and two pounds of packaged marijuana at the scene. He is held at the Aiken County Detention Center.

Fire destroys modular home on Gregory Lake Road
Sunday morning blaze at a modular home on Gregory Lake Road left the residence of Drew Hopkins and family completely destroyed. About 40 firefighters contained the fire in 10 minutes. the family was away. A relief fund at Bank of America, 2853 Washington Rd Augusta, is set up with contact Debra Bowman for donations.
