Wreck Kills Truck Driver. 500 Evacuated After Gas Leak
A propane tanker driven by 32 year old C Donald Glover of Johnston crashed into a grain truck on S C 121. Glover died instantly and about 500 residents including Johnston Elementary students were evacuated due to a gas leak. Ronald McCoy of Monroe N C drove the grain truck and was injured.
