Wallace Miles of Graniteville will retire at age 70 at year end from the Gregg Division after a long life of varied labor. Identified as Aiken County’s oldest industrial employee, Miles began work at seven, served four years in the Army MP unit, and later chauffeured and cared for families before joining Graniteville Company ten years ago.
