Morris Goes To School Continues On First Grade Day
A school day narrative follows Morris as he writes his name and learns reading in first grade. Mrs. Wilkins engages the class with stories while children visit the bathroom, recess, and discussion time. Keith, in fifth grade, narrates hamster chores and a cast arm incident, ending with a family lunch at McDonald’s and a swim with the Outing Club.
