County leaders tour EMS facility site plan
Coke County Administrator Clay Killian and Assistant Administrator Brian Sanders led Meybohm Commercial Properties listing agents and Aiken County Sheriff Michael Hunt on a visit to the building. Several attendees said the new site is better than EMS’s current basement operations at the County Complex on Richland Avenue. Councilman Charles Barton called the location an improvement and suggested EMS should be separate from the main complex to save taxpayers money while matching square footage.

Family fights rare heart disease needing multi transplant care

County Private Botling Plant Purchase Terms Hidden
Killian said the county will not reveal terms of the purchasing contract due to a confidentiality clause. In June the building’s asking price is 895000 dollars. The former bottling plant occupies 2.6 fenced acres with 2850 square feet of finished office space below and 4000 square feet of shop area plus four loading docks. Some speculated the site could be storage.
