Century Oaks Fall From Ridge Spring Home
Donnie and Sylvia Stone of 237 Trojan St Ridge Spring moved into their 1971 era two story home and watched 100 year old oaks fall. They removed two rear and three front trees after a long wait and counted 99 rings on one trunk. The trees stood about 90 feet tall and nine feet across. They cut them to prevent damage during storms and restore the yard after the loss.
