A Monday burglary on Woldus Road North Augusta involved electronics taken after a window unit was removed, with no sign of forced entry. A separate South Pines Drive North Augusta break in also reported theft of electronics, and a Horry Street residence burglary on Monday yielded stolen electronics.
Aiken Public Safety crews battled a blaze on Osbon Drive Tuesday afternoon, likely sparked by an electrical short in a garage. About 20 firefighters responded after a neighbor spotted the flames, with only minor damage reported.
