Reverend Lee Allen Selzer 39 director of pastoral ministry for Charleston’s Hispanic community died Monday August 13 2007. A 1990 The Citadel and Mundelein Seminary graduate he was ordained in 2002 and served at St Joseph Columbia St Mark Newberry Holy Spirit Laurens and St Boniface Joanna before ministering to Charleston’s Spanish speaking community. He is survived by parents four sisters and extended family. Mass of Christian Burial August 18 2007 at Cathedral St John the Baptist Charleston with burial at Holy Cross Cemetery James Island. Missing teen found after wreck. nephew dead nearby
Orangeburg authorities located 17 year old Dashawn Whetstone two days after his car left a highway and plunged into a creek. His 10 year old nephew Keedrick Disher died from injuries. Whetstone remained in critical condition Friday. The wreck was found Thursday along State Highway 70 near Cope by a police helicopter.
