Bridgestone widens recall tire reimbursement policy
Bridgestone Firestone announced a new policy allowing recall owners to replace defective tires with any tire and be reimbursed up to 100 per tire. The program, effective indefinitely, requires receipts and tires returned to Firestone or Bridgestone retailers. Ford and Firestone say 13 000 dealers can process refunds and a toll free line helps verify authorized dealers.
