New Ellenton Man Guilty Of DUI Second Offense
Joseph Dennis Pickering was found guilty of driving while intoxicated second offense in Aiken County General Sessions Court. Judge Walter J. Bristow imposed a $500 fine and one year probation. Bristow also revoked two years remaining probation for Atkenite Lee Donnell Price, 20, who faced burglary and second degree criminal sexual conduct. Price received two consecutive 20 year terms.

Beech Island Woman Attacked. Suspect Charged
Aiken County deputies report a Beech Island woman was raped and beaten at her home around 1 a.m. Friday. Bernard Lambright, 26, of 628 Old Trail Road, Beech Island, was arrested and charged with burglary and first degree criminal sexual conduct.
