Legislators reject pay for special reapportionment session
Four Aiken County House members and Senator Greg Ryberg dispute pay for a special session devoted to reapportionment. Rep. Bill Clyburn and Rep. James Roland Smith oppose the $260 per day pay, while Rep. Robert Perry would accept it due to lost private income. They fault the Senate for adjourning without a sine die, urging issues be settled in the regular session.
