Aiken Trooper Fired Over Child Exploitation Charges

John Lee Marshall Lillard, 39, a South Carolina DPS Troop 7 corporal, faces 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor second degree and four counts of sexual exploitation of a minor third degree. He was terminated for improper conduct and is subject to up to 10 years per count. The attorney general will prosecute.

Aiken Officials Offer Help for Training Track Crisis

Aiken leaders seek to assist the Training Track after the loss of its largest stable owner Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum plans to end his Aiken Thoroughbred operation by September.
