Miners Safe After Trapped In Cave-In
Seventy three coal miners were rescued after nearly eight hours trapped in a collapsed mine near Moundsville West Virginia. State mine safety director Bart Lay said everyone is safe and rescue crews maintained contact with the trapped workers. The miners tunneled out as rescuers worked from the surface.
