Pa. agency sells airports banned items on eBay
A Pennsylvania surplus program auctions confiscated airport carry-on items on eBay, turning a profit from knives, scissors, and oddities like a man-sized palm tree. Since 2004 the venture has earned over $307,000 with high demand for knives, hazarded lots sold in targeted bundles and seasonal themes across multiple states and airports.
