Aiken County Board reports strong MAT 7 results
Tuesday evening the Aiken County Board of Education heard upbeat results from the Metropolitan Achievement Test seventh edition. Dr. Linda Eldridge announced that district students surpassed state averages on all 15 subtests and outperformed the national sample on 87 percent. Fourth through 11th graders showed consistent leads in reading, math, and language across grades with notable margins. Board member Jack Hunter welcomed the continued success.
