Fourth shark bite reported along Grand Strand this summer
A 14 year old from Amelia Ohio Venus Lindsey was bitten on the left foot while swimming at Ocean Lakes Campground south of Myrtle Beach. She will use crutches for weeks but doctors expect no permanent damage. This follows three prior bites near Myrtle Beach area, including a Myrtle Beach surfer Jim Whitney and Roberto Perez of Surfside Beach, plus a 7 year old Georgia girl off Pawleys Island.
