Workshop on Effective Classroom Observations Reported
Randy Martin of South African Baptist Christian School participated in a session led by Larry Watt of the South Carolina Independent School Association. The aim was to detail principals of effective classroom teacher observations used with any instrument. Administrators were urged to bring their school's evaluation tool. Trevor Lightbody from Aiken earned an MS in actuarial science from the University of Iowa after spring 2015.

Aiken County Accommodations Tax Advisory Meeting Called

Back2School Bash aids Wagener students with supplies and care
The 16th annual Back2School Bash in Wagener drew an estimated 400 to 600 students. Churches Together for Kids CT FK organized volunteers and donors including Aiken Electric, Blizzard Funeral Home, Chandler Law Firm, and many churches to provide school supplies haircuts water and health screening.
