Suspect in death of missing man turns himself in
Altashuan Jalen Bacon, 18, turned himself in Friday in the death of Derrick Jai Curry, a missing New Ellenton man. He faces accessory before the fact of murder and after the fact of murder. Police say Curry was shot and killed in an Aiken home. Warrants had been issued for Denzell Jackson and Shakel Dixon, both 18 and 20, on multiple charges. A third arrest, Christian Barnwell, 17, was for accessory before and after the fact. Deputies seek Curry’s remains and urge tips to the sheriff’s office or CrimeStoppers.
