Hawaii storms seen as scare rather than threat
Hawaii faced Tropical Storm Iselle and Hurricane Julio with limited impact as watches were canceled by Friday night. Iselle caused minor damage to power lines, phones and trees while Maui Oahu and Kauai felt wind and rain. island residents enjoyed a light day with few injuries and no major disruption.
