Freight train crashes into parked cars in Rock Hill
A freight train bound for Charleston derailed seven cars after striking a parked train in Rock Hill shortly after midnight on a secondary line. No injuries reported. The cars carried mixed freight from Linwood, North Carolina. none held hazardous materials, per York County emergency officials.
