Palmetto X owner denied second entrance to station
Palmetto X owner Joey Heyward is denied a second access driveway to his new service station at the corner of the 118 bypass and S C 421. DOT officials cite widening Hitch cock Parkway to four lanes and limited access rules as reasons for the denial. A temporary driveway request was also refused despite a traffic survey urging two entrances to prevent 421 congestion.
