U S forces launched airstrikes from Bien Hoa Air Base near Saigon driving back Cambodian forces facing North Vietnamese T54 tanks. American Marine and Air Force jets destroyed 14 Soviet tanks along the Saigon Phnom Penh highway inside Cambodia.

The girl’s father David Boatwright and a man named Ginyard listed in serious condition. J B Glenn of Blair a passenger in Ginyard’s truck. The driver Boatwright was an engineer with the state highway department.
Pamela Kay Jarrell, 30, of Aiken and Leon B. Cole, 50, of Augusta were found dead in an Atlanta hotel on Sunday. A note stated a fatal shooting followed by the suspect killing himself, per Lt Mulliford and Det Fitzgerald of the Atlanta Police.
