Aiken man detained for drunken driving
A 42 year old Aiken man, Michael Eric Owens of Newberry Street, was detained after his pickup locked in a ditch on Pine Log Road at 1 a m. Officers cited driving with an unlawful alcohol concentration after he failed field sobriety tests. Owens admitted drinking earlier and provided a breath sample with a blood alcohol content of 0.12 percent.
