The search is on for the killer of Jessica Lynne Carpenter the Crosland Park resident found dead Friday afternoon at 113 Brentwood Place. Internal bleeding and lack of oxygen caused the death, according to Aiken County Coroner Sue Townsend who called it a homicide. Police are reviewing evidence and interviewing witnesses while bloodhound teams and multiple agencies assist in the field search near her home. Carpenter was a senior at AHS and part time musician in the school band.
Bush says he looks forward to one on one debates with Vice President Al Gore. He says it is an opportunity to state his beliefs and notes Gore is a strong debater. He has not set debate formats or number of debates and mentions third party candidates could be discussed.
