Langley teen Shawn B. Doby 18 was jailed after pointing a black pellet gun at a 14-year-old girl and a 16-year-old girl and threatening to shoot them. Deputies chased him after the incident around 1 30 p m Tuesday and found a pellet gun hidden in a rusty barbecue as evidence.
Former Aiken County Deputy Jeffrey Nations faces trial next week on assault and battery and misconduct in office for the alleged 2008 false arrest and assault of a New Ellenton teen. Nations was dismissed from ACSU after the incident and charged by SLED. the case is prosecuted by the Attorney General's Office.
