Man in priest death to face court August 15 in Georgia
Steven J. Murray 28, accused of fatally shooting Rev. Rene Robert in Burke County Georgia between April 10 and 18, will attend a 2:30 p.m. hearing August 15 for murder counts and related firearm charges. He is jailed in Georgia and faces additional charges in Aiken County.

Aiken Police Seek Suspect in Downtown Armed Robbery
A 23 year old Ridge Spring man reported an armed robbery during a drug deal early Wednesday in downtown Aiken. The victim said a bald black man approached, demanded drugs, produced a handgun, took $50, and fled toward an apartment complex after driving to Morgan Street then to York Street gas station. No video footage available as the gas station was closed.
