Sikh hijacker ends airliner plot over India Pakistan attempt

A Sikh man using a fake bomb seized an Indian Airlines Boeing 737 with 134 aboard from New Delhi to Amritsar and tried to force a landing in Pakistan. Pakistan barred Lahore. the plane returned to Amritsar where passengers were released and the hijacker Gur baksh Singh was arrested.
