Police chase reaches 100 mph before crash
West Pelzer officers pursued a car through two Upstate towns after a disturbance call near 10 p.m. Friday. The suspect accelerated to 104 mph in a 35 mph zone on Highway 20, the chase ended when the vehicle left the road and became airborne. The driver was hospitalized with condition unknown.
