Special Olympics bowlers join regular league at Park Avenue Lanes
Five Special Olympics bowlers joined a Park Avenue Lanes league alongside volunteers and other players. The program, started by Carl Rapp about 15 years ago, blends competition and socialization with unified teams and plans to expand to winter leagues and additional coed squads. Community support comes from Knights of Columbus, Women of Woodside, and local booster clubs as funding needs rise.
