Fire Damages North Augusta Home. Several Fire Crews Assist
A Tuesday evening blaze at a Thornwood Drive residence in North Augusta destroyed a two story home ruled an electrical fire. Aiken Woman Charged in 2004 Assault Case
Yavonda N. Pope 21 of Hampton Avenue was charged with assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature in connection with a 2004 attack that sent a woman to the hospital. Police say she admitted being at Hahn Village fight but denied involvement. A $5,000 bond was set and she was detained at the county facility.
