Plane crashes into warehouse near Owens Field injuring two
A two seat Cessna 150 crashed into Boineau's Inc. Moving and Storage warehouse near Columbia's Owens Field at noon Saturday, starting a small fire. Pilot Scott Berry 35 and passenger Jason Brewer 19, both of Columbia, were treated and released. Warehouse owner Doug Coonce said the plane left a 20 to 30 foot hole in the roof but did not cause further damage. Witness Harold Mixon said two men walked away after the crash, blood on them. It was unclear if the plane was departing or arriving.
