A pipe bomb exploded outside the Longshoremen's Union headquarters at Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco. Police reported windows shattered and glass sprayed inside, but no injuries. Witnesses saw a car stop and throw the device about 11 30 p.m. Wednesday night.

State planners led by Gene Boles will propose a new regional study on Horse Creek pollution to the Aiken County Delegation on Monday.
