Security Federal reports higher quarterly earnings and six month results
Security Federal Corp says net income available to common shareholders rose to 769000 for the June quarter and 1.3 million for the six months, driven by higher non interest income including gains on investments and grant income. Total assets declined to 867.4 million and loans decreased to 374.0 million while deposits eased to 671.1 million across 13 branches in several cities.
