Sadegh Ghotbzadeh, Iran's foreign minister, was unharmed after a hail of bullets hit a motorcade car in Kuwait. Kuwait police found two weapon laden cars, one near the Iraqi Embassy, with no arrests reported. Iran blamed Iraq for the abortive assassination.
