Aiken County Crime Blotter Reports Multiple Incidents
A Columbia man reported a vehicle break in on Belford Grove Drive. Aiken and North Augusta residents reported threats thefts and suspicious activity including a stolen cellphone a stolen vehicle and a robbery at Whiskey Road. An elderly driver faced DUI after high beam use on Whiskey Road. Additional reports include vehicle access attempts misappropriated cash and a church sign destruction. A 58-year-old Aiken woman was noted on Hilltop Avenue.

Aiken Woman Accused of Identity Fraud in Meth Ingredients Case
Amy Gabriella Scott 35 of Shaws Crest Drive faced multiple charges after a narcotics probe linked identity theft to purchasing cold medicines used to make meth. She allegedly used another woman’s ID to sign for 217 purchases exceeding the 9 gram 30 day limit across several Aiken pharmacies. Scott is held at the Aiken County detention center.
