Beech Island Tour Highlights Newark Windsor Swiss Settlers

The seventh annual Historic Beech Island Tour highlights New Windsor's Swiss settlers and Fort Moore along the Savannah River. The Meyer brothers farmstead is a stop in the 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday event, tracing early colonist efforts and later declines amid fort conflicts and land grants.
