Pine Log Road work nears finish in Aiken

The Pine Log Road project on Aiken s south side is about a month from completion. The DOT says final surface work on US 78 and side streets plus pavement markings will wrap up soon. Contractors Cherokee Construction and Satterfield Construction have used about 100 workers on a 6.1 million dollar job aimed at reducing congestion and improving safety.
