Beech Island Swindle Tells of Foreclosure Deception
A Beech Island man says he was swindled out of thousands after a May 2013 contract to buy property on Pine Log Road led to foreclosure. He paid $1,000 down and about $500 monthly, but the mortgage was never current and he was evicted after a January foreclosure notice. A separate incident reports a man touching a woman at a McDonald’s on Whiskey Road. the 47-year-old victim confronted him as he and three others fled in a white Wisconsin-tagged pickup.
