Court upholds large award in Weston medical director feud
The South Carolina Court of Appeals affirmed a $500,000 verdict for Dr. Paul Weston, former medical director of Margaret J. Weston Medical Center, in his 2003 illegal dismissal suit against the board. Weston received $200,000 in actual damages and $300,000 in punitive damages.
