Six workers sue Charleston staffing firm over mistreatment

VA funds 18.5 million for Walterboro veterans home

Orangeburg couple found dead in apparent murder death by own action
Police investigating an apparent murder death by own action in Orangeburg County. A 35 year old Cordova woman Mary Elizabeth Thomas was shot in front of her parents home Friday morning. An hour later 38 year old Dexter Govan was found dead with a handgun beside him. Sheriff Williams called it an unfortunate situation from an acquaintanceship.
